Collin Sexton and the NBA draft--(Lebron moving, the Lakers, and it's the off-season.)

James ain't going anywhere. He likes to get everyone talking about him, but he won't go anywhere. If I'm wrong and he does, he is just admitting he cannot win without a superstar cast around him, plain and simple.

Win what? 8 trips to the NBA finals? He has been winning with nobodies since he got into the league.

So Dwayne Wade, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving are nobodies? First time I've heard that one. I know you have a little "thing" for Bron Bron, but let's face it, he's a cry baby that needs a superstar cast to be happy and win it all. The East is so freaking weak that it reminds me of the SEC West from the standpoint of "beat one or two teams and you're home free". One team may challenge Alabama, but after that there is no competition, so making the Finals eight straight times is really amazing, but it's not like he's doing it in the West either.

Some pretty decent names on this list, so he hasn't been doing it alone, sport.

A lot of Georgia in those comments. You may not be as purged as you give on.

I don't like BamaFan but he's not wrong about Bron's teammates. He had stars with him when he won his rings. Yes, two of his trips to the Finals were with a cast of MOSTLY nobodies but his only wins came when he either had Wade/Allen/Bosh or Kyrie/Love. Now, you can argue every team has to have more than just one, great dominant player. If you don't have good-great role players it's not going to work, either.

My issues with Lebron are the fact that he whines so much (and "The Decision" really rubbed me the wrong way) and I honestly believe he wants to treat that team like he's the GM, coach AND superstar but that's a different conversation. Some of the insane hate he gets is weird. He's a guy that does alot for his community, never gets in trouble and is obviously supremely talented. So, I could never truly "hate" him. Do I enjoy rooting against him? Yep. But if he stays in Cleveland, I will support them with Sexton on the team (but I'll hold my nose doing it lol).

See, I've heard that argument pretty much since he defected to Miami. And there might be SOME merit in that case.

But Jordan had his Pippen. Jordan at 40 yrs old was past his "prime" but was still arguably better than anyone in the league when the Wizzards experiment happened. Buuuut, he had NO help there and it showed in the W/L column.

And you never heard people saying the same thing about Garnett when he went to Boston with the rest of the "big 3".

I really don't get all the venom towards LeBron's need of a little consistent help.

Hell, in the early stages he had Mo Williams. And love him because he's a Bama guy, but he was inconsistent as fuck. 28 one night, 12 the next. Up and down.

What Bron needs is a consistent 18-20PPG from someone like Sexton to help shoulder the load.

Pretty much my sentiments about him. Practically verbatim.

You are either able to appreciate what you see or not. That's always the case with teams and individuals that make them up. Continuing to play against Golden State with 4 perennial all-stars and 2 MVPs is a little much for everyone don't you think?

You're an avid Bama fan and the pure hate and prejudice that has followed Lebron around his 15 years in the league you find weird? That's what people do, they emote. So the manner in which he announced his free agency choice troubled you. The owner shoveling crap on his website after Lebron left, like a spoiled 3-year-old, was troubling as well. Worst owner in the league. For Lebron to suck it up and return to his hometown after that took a lot of class on his part as well. I wouldn't have done it. I would have moved on to another established franchise and win some championships.

Lebron is a physical freak and a great player no doubt. But he is very unlikable because of several things.. he whines about calls a lot... he makes excuses a lot... he thinks of himself as King James... He stalls out the offense on the team he plays because he just dribbles until he goes one on one
every play. No great player wants to watch that over and over and over again. He is a terrific passer too but the ball doesn't move around enough on a team he plays on and there is only one ball. Not to mention his constant political opinion.. I agree with Laura Ingram when she told him to just shut up and dribble. That is all anyone cares about from him.

Just stating the facts. Your love affair with him blinds you to those. You still haven't proven he has won with "nobodys", just attempting to belittle me. I have zero issues with him going elsewhere, but pulling a Durant is weak and even he knows that. Allowing the media to gush over this crap is what he loves, he absolutely loves it and is in need of LeBron love on Sportscenter and every other media outlet. That's how he gets his giggles these days. He already has the rings, he already has the money, so all he wants now is to be front page news cause that's the only thing that changes on a daily basis and he can maybe be forgotten in today's world. The greatest ever debate will never ever be solved. Name one sport where you can ask ten people who the greatest is and they say the same person. You'll never find it, unless an entire base dies off.

Bwahahahahahaha, sucked it up for what, $21M a year? Yeah, he really sucked it up alright. Sticks and stones. He doesn't give one shit about Dan Gilbert, cause he knows the city loves him and he's cashing in those checks from Gilbert. So he did not "suck it up", he was paid handsomely and was taken back by the city that loved him.

By the way, sucking it up is taking a pay cut in efforts of getting better players around you and helping the franchise. Drew Brees and even Tom Brady have done that, not Lebron so much. His pay was near the top, so he wasn't at Kobe levels, but he also was only $2M off.

With regards to LeBron, I'm not a fan of how he showcased The Decision. I don't get why everyone wants to compare him to MJ. They are both great basketball players.

I don't understand why people hate on LeBron so much either. Sure, he has his flaws, but his pros far surpass them.

Same reason everyone compares Bear and Saban. it's a discussion, that's all.

Someone should do a psychological profile on the way fans tend to give their devotion. Got to start with the insecurities that make folks feel threatened by other peoples success. The more success they experience, the greater the need to explain it otherwise. Throw in a little jealousy and envy and there you are. Fron Charles Barkley to the average fan a lot of these folks don't use the MJ comparison as much for statistical discussion these days as they do like a stick to try to talk you out of what you're seeing. Wrong approach. I always thought people are more afraid of Alabama and their success in this respect as anything else. Feet of clay.

The hate for Alabama is weird, too but at least Bama wins championships consistently to earn that hate lol The owner sucks too but we weren't talking about the owner. People have to stop with these "whataboutisms" these days and I've already said I think he's a good dude. That has nothing to do with why I dislike him, myself.

I saw on social media where Bron's son has already transferred to a private school in LA, implying that it's a done deal that Bron is going to the Lakers, and he's just hyping up "The Decision 3.0" for publicity.

Grain of salt, of course. Hell, maybe a whole spoon full.

143 million dollar deal. Funniest thing is this mean the Lakers are probably shipping Lonzo Ball off ASAP lol
