Not bad for the first ranking of the year. Ohio St. and Michigan will d take care of each other the last regular season game, just have to hope one or both get upset this year before that game or lose in the Big 10 championship.

Washington and Oregon will play at some point so one of them should drop. One or both of them need to be upset as well.

I can’t argue wit UTw because they beat us straight up in Tuscaloosa. Thee Big 12 cd come down to a Texas and Oklahoma rematch.

Florida St. is playing well and I can’t argue with them being there although the ACC is down overall IMO.

Bama is a top 10 team but IMO, we are not in that top 4 groups this year.

I don't think Michigan should be top 5 TBH. They have not played a real team yet. Their schedule, like Georgia's, is a joke. I know they will play PSU and OSU. But those are the only ranked teams they play. And I think a case could be made that they are the only legitimate Div 1 teams they play all year. The Big sux this year.

I think they're there because while they haven't played anyone yet, they have dominated their games say unlike squeaking by USF.

I agree “Bama is not a top 10 team” but I’d add “at least not yet”. If Bama wins out I think they should be in the Top 4. In my opinion no team has looked dominate this season. So, I think more than in any previous playoff season there aren’t any teams that you say at the release of the first Playoff Poll “Oh, that team will definitely make the playoffs this year”. Georgia has played down to the competition but have looked good against the best two teams they’ve played. Their games against Missouri and UT in Knoxville will reveal a lot. The B1G as per usual is very weak from the middle down so who knows if the top 3 teams are really that strong. The Pac 12 is a bit different this year following their opening weekend non-conference showing. Though I doubt two of their teams will be selected. The ACC’s still only a one team conference only this season it’s switched to FSU. The Big 12 will at most have one team and maybe none if their penchant for late season upsets occurs again this season. I don’t see any team outside of the Power Five conferences making it this season. All that being said, if Bama wins out they should be selected. I only hope UGA loses a game before the SEC Championship Game as I don’t want Bama to have to face them twice again.

Look at who OU lost their game against: Kansas is the 6th ranked team in the Big 12.
