1) The rankings are severely flawed when an unranked USC team can be favored over the number three team in the country and then proceed to destroy them in the game.

2) SEC officiating is atrocious.

3) If Ole Miss wins out, the SEC is locked out of the playoff.

4) Did Jimbo lose his magical talisman?

5) Ohio State hasn't played a college football team since beating the Tide last season. When will their preseason string of games versus high school teams end?

6) Did I mention SEC officiating being awful?

7) If your team plays Alabama, get ready to be embarrassed the following week.

8) As illustrated in the Baylor game, being a running quarterback is a tenuous existence.

9) Someone must have told Kentucky that basketball had begun.

10) SEC officiating is still awful.

How do you figure that? If Ole Miss wins out then they have won the west. Their Florida loss doesn't count.

We need Ole Miss to lose to an SECW team. Otherwise us winning out means nothing.

Right now OM wins the tie breaker if both OM and Alabama win out. Both have an SEC loss but OM beat Alabama head-to-head. OM needs to lose another SEC game, and they will. I don't think it matters if it's East or West.

That's my understanding as well - it doesn't have to be an SECW loss. Any SEC loss will do. We need to just stay focused and figure out how to play our best ball at Bryant-Denny like we always used to.
