@TUSKtimes, you know nothing about me. NOT A DAMN THING!!! I have an opinion and it evidently is different than yours. That's what makes this country great. I feel that a vast majority of professional athletes are spoiled rich pricks like the Hollywood elite and they feel they are above reproach.
I know what the protests are about. I don't believe these guys are necessarily the "poster boys" for social injustice. The example you gave, Hell yes! He is an example and I would believe as well.
What the hell does my checkbook and house have to do with it? I've busted my ass everyday for the things I have and I still make sacrifices. I have been working in some shape, form or fashion for 35 years, the last 25 in education!!!! I teach and live in one of the poorest counties in Alabama. My particular school consists of roughly 65-70% free and reduced lunch. Our makeup is roughly 60-40, white to black. I see it everyday!!!!
You asked ME if I'm sure he has experienced any injustice and then proceeded to explain how difficult that is to comprehend given his bank account. I don't see one thing a big house or car or bank account has to do with what's going on with the police department and racial profiling. Other than if the police happen to pick on a rich minority and they survive, they are going to get their backside sued off.
The discussion from Kapernicks point of view is prejudice and bias toward minorities, primarily by the police departments in this country. Which then explains my example. If the police are going to continue to exercise a predisposition about minorities because they are minorities, that humiliation, indignity, loss of life is the "injustice" you asked ME about.
