Here's an interesting comment about Blake that Saban made today at the CC event in Birmingham.

“He played quarterback in high school, was a different style of quarterback from what we have, but we have the flexibility on offense to maybe utilize him at that position,” Coach Nick Saban told reporters before Tuesday’s Crimson Caravan event at the Cahaba Grand Convention Center.

That would have been a good place to ask him to expound a little more on what he meant by "...the flexibility on offense to maybe utilize him at..."

Quick note he added on Morris who'll be on campus soon.

“I think he’ll do fine,” Saban said about Morris, who is expected to report with teammates near the end of the month for summer classes. “A.J. didn’t come in early and by the middle of the season he was a very, very good backup quarterback when he was a freshman.


“Alec has a lot of positive qualities and is a very bright guy. I think he’ll be able to develop nicely for us.”
