I gave up on them ever going to the Peach Bowl during the 35 years I lived in Tucker. I'm hoping Citrus or Outback now.

Im all for it. I think here should be more ACC-SEC matchups. There are a few with in state rivialrys, but Bama - Clemson, thats a nice matchup in the ATL. I'd love to see us play at UNC one time. Stadium and campus is gourgous. Very nice setting. But, whatever.
If they lock that in, Im probably going to fly up and go (I also use to live in the ATL).

Maisel must smoke a lot of crack. I can't imagine any scenario for the rest of this season which would put Ark in a better bowl than us, but he predicts just that each and every week. Even if we lose to the barn and they beat LSU our records would be the same and I would think we would get the better bid by virtue of traveling better and winning the head to head. Maisel, however, obviously doesn't think Ark will beat LSU cause he has LSU in the championship game. So he thinks an Arkansas team with a slightly worse record than Alabama will go to a better bowl? That's hard for me to believe.

Yeah, add to that the 17 that I've lived in the ATL area. I'm telling ya' - ATL and Alabama must be like oil and water (i.e. they don't mix :shock: ).

I can follow Maisel's thinking with the Liberty offering Arkansas because the game is in Mphs.

He probably thinks Arky would be more attractive because of McFad. That "school of thought" is out there. I had a rather heated discussion on another forum with a guy who insisted that Arky would get a better bid because of that.

Wifeys dad lives in Charlotte... that woudl be a fun game to go to in NC...

You're exactly right about Chapel Hill. Awesome city and school.

Alabama playing at Kenan would be a great excuse for me to go back.
