🏈 Clemson schedule

Lawrence dis not look good tonight. Much like the national title game where he was not on point and flustered when pressured. Georgia Tech's defense played them well. The 52 points is not very telling due to the turnovers.

I just watched the highlights of the Clemson-Georgia Tech game. And their fans...rushed the field. WHY??? I mean, ALL they did was beat an unranked, over matched, out manned Georgia Tech team who is debuting a new coach. A new coach who was at Temple last season. Had they never beaten Georgia Tech before last night? What gives? They should be ashamed. And I thought that the barners were bad about rushing the field. SMH.....

I agree. Clemson basically has more horses than GT... GT really didn't have any horses. I thought the GT D looked pretty good for a quarter or two, but got sloppy and that hurt them against a team that has the horses to make you pay for sloppy play.

That's why they're likely to lose a game. The Clemson players see what everyone is saying. Could make them a little complacent.
They damn near lost 2 games last year, neither of them should have been close.

Yes, Clemson has a way of looking very pedestrian during the season and then really turning it on for the playoffs. There is no doubt they have the same horses if not more than we have. So if they make it to the playoffs they will be ready for whomever they play. In season... that's another story. Will be interesting to see what happens if aTm or another team take them out... how far do they drop?

For the "Clemson has more horses" than Alabama crowd, how would you compare the teams by position group?

QB
RB
WRs
TEs
OL

Interior DL
Edge Rushers
LB

S
CB

If people think Alabama is thin at RB or LB, what about Clemson?

Clemson is absolutely awesome.....period....
As is Bama and UGA.....
Could throw Oklahoma and Ohio State in that also....
Trash whatever anyone wants but the facts are obvious...
Clemson has easiest pipeline.....to final 4....
But if final 4 is not 4 from above i would be shocked....at least 3 of 4
AnM...will get get nutbusted

To be clear, I said has AS MANY... if not more. Just meaning they are fielding as many studs as we are. They are not GT, who may only have one horse in the barn... if that. ;)

QB - Equal/maybe slight edge in experience to Bama
RB - 1st string, equal IMO. Depth, heavy edge to Bama
WRs - Heavy lean as a group to Bama/Clemson does have a few NFL quality WR though...
TEs - Not sure i have enough info to judge either team yet.
OL - Heavy lean to Clemson

Interior DL/Edge Rushers/LB- I would have to bundle these all together as I don't know the individual Clemson players and positions well. However, I would say they excel above us in some areas and below us an others. Either way, I don't think it's a huge swing either side. I will say Simmons looked really impressive in the GT game.

S/CB - I would give the edge to Bama here. Although to be honest I don't know the Clemson secondary at all.
