🏈 Championship Hats

I got one of the Hats last night like the players were wearing after the game and across the front it has ...... " D ONE" been asked what it stood for and all I can suggest is Done...Mission complete...2011 BCS/AP National Champions...Roll Tide!!!!


I Know Nike uses alot of the "One" in the marketing lately, Just want to know if anyone has any Ideas as I would like to be able to explain... Thanks!

I like to think this:

D for DEFENSE
D ONE for D-1
ONE for ONE game
ONE for #1
DONE for FINISHED

That's my take.

A couple ideas:

D - One - As in the Defense is #1 or the D won the game. Something like that.
Done - As in mission complete

At least that is what I can figure out.

Yes that is the one! Acadamy Sports had them out @ 11:00 pm last night after the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the players had a role in the design of those hats. IIRC, they did on the design of the sports gloves—with the script A—that MI made famous.

It wouldn't surprise me either. Kids today like a lot of ugly looking stuff. Heck, my 17 yo thought the Ducks helmets were sharp.
