🏈 CFP scenarios as of Saturday afternoon. (UF loss shakes up playoff picture.)

Florida making it would come down to who they are compared to. If (big IF) they beat Bama they have two losses. Who do they go in compared to? Bama who they would have just beat? ND, Clemson or OSU? Doubt it honestly. They have not been rated above A&M so far. Will likely fall even further after the loss to LSU.

He's stupid if he thinks Florida is getting in after this loss. There only chance was beating LSU and Alabama.
If history holds true Tony will be a part of the CBS crew next weekend covering the SECCG. In that role, I'm betting, he's going to have an interview with Mullen and a part of that interview will be discussing UF's chances of making the CFBP with the possibility of beating Alabama.

Do you think he'd be tweeting "no chance" for a playoff spot with an interview like that in the next few days? I don't and believe he's taking that stance in order to say in the "good graces" of Dan (much like he refused to make any critique on Freeze when it was old news.)

Florida just lost at home to a HORRIBLE LSWHO team that Alabama and Auburn beat by over 35 points. The Gators are NOT going to the playoffs.

And shows why the ACC didn't require ND and Clemson to play. It was chicken chit but it was a smart business decision.

Without fans, the CGs can't be that big of a deal, so if two in the CFP is better financially than the CG, you can watch that go away also.

Assuming A&M beats Tennessee, then they would get in before Florida at this point. Winning the SECCG would not change that.

If Florida beat us, Clemson, and Ohio State lost I think they would have a shot. I mean, if that happened, you would have Alabama and Notre Dame for sure, Texas A&M, and then who else? No way Ohio State makes the Playoff at 5-1. Oklahoma is too far gone. Cincinnati would be fine by me, but still nit sure they make that call.

That is about the only way they could get in. Even then it may be hard to let them in over Cincinnati (and possibly Iowa State). Cincy was only 2 spots behind Florida on the last CFP rankings and is sure to be ahead of them after this one. Unfortunately for them, Iowa State is between Florida and Cincy and won last weekend so they won't drop.
