Any idea about the start time for Tennessee-Bama is? I'm guessing with a Tennessee this weekend we could be looking at an 11:30 kickoff again on Raycom.

I'd bet it has a good chance of getting the 3:30 spot.

UGA vs LSU that day, ESPN has picked that up. Ole Miss vs Arkansas will probably be televised and that seems like a good Raycom game to me.

The game "in play" that weekend will be the UK vs UF contest.

ESPN picked that game before the season started...it was one of their two selections.

ESPN picked that game before the season started...it was one of their two selections.

OK. I wasn't sure how it worked this year (or any year really). I thought I had heard Cecil say that CBS got the first pick every week, but he just didn't mention the pre-season selections.

Nope. In years past ESPN was able to pick 1st at least once a year. Then last year they get to pick 1st at least two separate times. This year I know they've already picked 1st at least twice....LSU at Auburn and Alabama at UGA.

Now it looks like they pick 1st again with UGA/LSU. You got me. Maybe there are no more limits. Maybe whenever ESPN wants a game they get it. I tried to find out definitive info for the selection process and haven't been able to find anything. ;scr

Regardless, it just sucks that we have to endure CBS one more time. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Tennessee will be on CBS too. Perhaps even LSU? Seems like ESPN would get that one, but I don't know.

The reason I was asking about wifi is that I don't want to lug a stupid Dish Network setup to Tuscaloosa anymore on gameday. It would be so much easier to carry a small LCD Tv, say 21 inch, and my notebook PC, and run the screen game through the LCD TV with the notebook connected to it. Talk about taking a load off. But if the Univ. of Ala closes the wifi on gamedays or requires a student ID, then I guess some lucky student can make $20.00 off of me to let me borrow their student login!!
