Bama is back I the game with Isaac Taylor-Stewart. I really like this kids potential and I think if we push, Tosh gets another west Coast stud. Kid has Dre Kirkpatrick like size and potential. As of today, I believe we sign Tyson Campbell, Savion Smith, and Isaac Taylor Stewart as true CB types.

Sounds REALLY good! Any particular info leading you to say that, on Taylor-Stewart or on Campbell?

Campbell is in near daily contact with staff at this at this point. He is without a doubt our best bet for a 5* DB in this cycle. I have a friend that's an off the field staff member at Bama, and according to him as of yesterday, staff feels really confident on Tyson despite all the smoke coming from the UGA side. On Taylor Stewart, he told me that staff was taking a wait and see approach for him, but with the lack of certainty on Jobe and Surtain Jr, they've recommitted to contact with him. Savion Smith is a done deal. After him in order off staff confidence, it's Campbell, Surtain Jr., Jobe, as far as 5* true CB types go.

Great to hear - thanks!

Going to need CB's like a mofo the next couple year... Just thought about the fact that we are losing our top cover guys.

1. Minkah Fitz
2. Avarett
3. Wallace
4. Tony Brown

Going to have a SERIOUS lack of experience. Need some phenom's that are ready to roll. I guess at this point Diggs and Shy Carter would be next up. Mayden in the mix. Could use another Minkah Fitz freakish freshman All American to step right in lol. Any one in that mold?

Early guess at what I see when spring camp starts.

CB: Diggs, Knott, and McDonald
CB: Carter, and Mayden
S: Thompson, Anderson
S: McKinney, Wright.

In terms of depth, I'd put Mayden as the 5th DB, Wright as 6th.

Growing pains. I can see a lot of mistakes early on and opening with Louisville? Learning experience right off the bat.

McDonald really impressed several in the spring. He's going to be a good one as well.

Is Surtan Jr. an honest possibility or is he a long shot just throwing our name around like Justin Fields did?

I noticed Thompson is trying to thump the hell out of people like Harrison. Launching himself around. Love the aggressiveness but not sure he's built for that... Not sure anyone is really.

Knott and McDonald are intriguing. Will be crazy to track that group this Spring/Summer/Next Fall... Also losing Hootie Jones are Harrison! Basically every spot up for grabs with Diggs the only guy to start games

Luckily we have guys getting in like McKinney, Thompson, Carter, and Mayden that will have logged some meaningful game time. I expect Nigel Knott to put up a fight for a spot as they say his athleticism is off the charts. We're going to need it as we are losing everyone like you mentioned. Add Diggs into that mix and I don't think we'll be as green as we may have been in years past. I see Coach Saban making a concerted effort to play the young guys more and more this year and last year. Not sure if that's because of depth or if it's for recruiting to create less chatter about "waiting for your chance" at Alabama.
