🏈 Cash sought for Cam Newton

So AU friend of mine updates his status with this:

"Cecil went to the Feds after Kenny Rogers and co. tried to extort money out of him. He wasnt going to let Cam be a "rented mule" so he wore a wire and got the evidence on tape. This is why Cecil is not talking, why the Feds are interviewing the Kenny Rogers gang, why AU is not worried, why the Feds are not seeking an interview with the Newtons, why Rogers is "clearing" his name, why reports suggest Newton solicited money."

That dude has either been watching too much tv or has found a few mushrooms in the cow pasture . . .

What is the old phrase? La-La Land

:panic:So, if this is true, what do you think it means?

It means that the NCAA is offering some helpful advice. If they (auburn) were not already aware of the issue however, then they are 'box of rocks' dumb. Regardless, they are not going to sit him, so it doesn't matter. More than likely, the NCAA just wanted it on record that they recommend he sit from this point forward (until/unless he was granted reinstatement). That will come up at a later date (assuming they did recommend such).

:elephant: It just sounds like to me that the ncaa is tellin aub ,Hey if you keep playn the guy, then you may only compound the problem on their(aubs)part. what do u think?

Auburn doesn't care at this point....heck no they aren't going to sit him! They are so deep that Coach Chiz and company are determined to get what they paid for! They are so determined that if Cam is ruled ineligable, they are just going to put another players jersey on him and have him wear the bubba teeth.... No one will ever know its Cam!:panic:

I think the cow college is under enormous pressure to declare him ineligible and this no comment on their part could mean they might wait right up to game time tomorrow and declare him ineligible. Thats just my opinion but Im no Nostradamus.
