🏈 Carpenter

don't be to quick to judge him after a matchup against greg hardy.. he gave bama the same problems last year.. he is just a great pass rushes.. in the neighborhood with derrick thomas among others.. basically nobody has much sucess blocking him..

Sorry, but I have to disagree with that one. I don't recall Derrick taking off several plays a game. That is something I see with Hardy all the time.

He seems to get called for holding at least once every week, but we are 6-0 at this point. Hopefully, we continue to win and this doesn't have an impact on the outcome or he has saved us from an injury to Greg. I'm sure our coaching staff have the best 11 in there on every play, so we need to roll with it and support James.:a:

James is doing fine. He's adjusting to the speed of the D-lineman in this conference. He's improved each week and I'd rather him hold a guy than give them a freebie at G Mac, one of three players we cannot lose (Mac, Ingram, Ro).

He's had some trouble with speed rushers. The Ole Miss game was not the first instance of that. Having said that, he's not Chris Capps. It could be worse, and hopefully Carpenter is going to continue to improve as the season goes on. It's not like he's been terrible, but he's had some moments that make you go, "Ugghhhhh".

Hey GoodSquad. That sure is a fine photo of your star Norwood flexing his muscles under your name.

Perhaps you guys need a Strength and Conditioning program. Consider this photo. These arms are one of our RB's, who has been with the program for half a year. (and before in a Florida High School)

I think it's mostly because we're so used to Andre holding that spot down. James is no Andre, but not many others can compare to him either. I for one think Jones, Vlachos, and him have done absolutely wonderful.

He just needs to put time in to improve his footwork. That is what has been getting him beat and getting the holding calls. His stance was a little different this week than in the past.
