Alabama never had a Heisman winner in some weird effort to make themselves feel better about auburn having 2 winners at the time.

Yeah the mistake here is anyone ever feeling like they need to compare Bama to the Barn. That is not an exercise that should ever happen. Like comparing the Steelers to my high school team what purpose does it server.

Bryce isn't the best player on the team, it's Will. - Unfortunately it's become an Offensive award and more specifically a QB award. Will should win it IMO.
Pickett has the same numbers. - Picket has good numbers too. I think he has more INTs and a little lower average per attempt and a lower QBR.
Bryce's numbers are boosted by skill players around him. Well no shit... isn't that the way things work? I mean a QB can't throw and catch the ball. I will say BY mobility has been pretty amazing. Not sure how Pickett was in the pocket, not watching many PITT games.

I think this year the Heisman field was a bit weak and on level with each other. It really was a year they could have and most likely should have given it to a defensive player and Will being that person. With BY on the ticket, Will had not chance...

I don't think the Heisman is as prestigious as it once was since it became more of a Offensive/QB award and a popularity contest. Too many voters now mucking up the votes. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if BY didn't end up the winner due to Bama hate/bias/fatigue.

More often than not (17 of 22 times) the AP POTY went on to win the Heisman. What's interesting about that is out of those five two involved Alabama players; Ingram (Suh) and Henry (McAffrey.)

Oh, I know... just saying there is a lot of Bama Fatigue and hate out there. There are definitely some that will vote anyone else but BY in a year when an argument can be made for someone else. Not saying that he won't win it... just that nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to the fatigue others have around our program...

A healthy McCaffery is a better all around player than King, but yes as you said he’s always hurt
