šŸˆ Bryce Young Wins 2021 Heisman Memorial Trophy

Saban ties Frank Leahy as the only two coaches who have had four Heisman trophy winners.

The fourth trophy will make Alabama's program the only one with four (NCAA) and the leading school in conference.

With Bryce coming back are we looking at the possibility of the second back to back winner?

I believe Alabama and Oklahoma will be the only two schools who have had players win in back to back years.
Uh.....

Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame have the most Heisman trophies won, each with seven; Ohio State has had six different players win the award.

Alabama will have four leaving her as the only school in the NCAA with four (as well as the largest number in the SEC.)

Another silver lining here is that this will actually help Will Anderson's chances next season. The outrage is far and wide, and it isn't just outrage from our fanbase like we'd normally see. He will be listed as one of the heavy favorites now going into 2022. If he stays healthy and has a similar year (and there's no skill player that puts up ridiculous numbers) he will have a legit shot at winning IMO. Some voters treat it as a career achievement award (which I hate), but that would help him too. Plus I'd imagine that since Bryce will have his already, you'd see a bit of a campaign from UA... having a defensive Heisman winner is a recruiting poster mic drop.
