I'm glad the Tuscaloosa News staff decided to actually investigate one of these rumors instead of letting people run with it. Hell, even though I knew the story about Gadsden a few years ago, and repeatedly laughed at people's accusations down there, a response like this would have been a good idea.

I've been trying to recall the name of one guy, big "black helicopter" kind of fan. He had a position on either the scout or rivals site...not Lee, not Matthews...anyone tell me who I'm thinking of?

Funny that in an article, it said that the guy carried Brent to games his junior year because "no coaches would carry him". The head coach was a Barner and he wouldn't dare go to Tuscaloosa. He was the one that had Brent put in a room with 2 future Barners at the All-Star game in San Antonio. Want to talk about trying to strong arm someone into a decision.
