šŸ“” BREAKING: The UA system will reopen for the fall semester: UA president says there will be college football this season

Seems like the Trustees will have to be satisfied there is not a high risk of major litigation if someone dies from COVID-19. Hard for me to think they will be until more information throughout the summer comes in.

In the next "stimulus" bill, the Republicans want to include a business liability protection component so that if Covid-19 is contracted when you visit a store, go to the mall, eat at a restaurant or go to a game that they cannot be sued

That would certainly do it. I suspect there will be negotiations and be some type of compromise where litigation will be allowed but maybe capped.

Since every business has already been hit hard and most are holding on by a thin string, I think they want to include zero liability. You proceed with an understanding of some risk. By accepting that risk and visit a store, go to the mall, eat at a restaurant or go to a game, you waive the liability. I'm not writing the bill, but I think that's the only way it will work.
