| NEWS BREAKING NEWS: Greg Schiano returns as Rutgers coach after miraculous reversal

It's the Big 10 right?
I'd have to look so this is a guess. I suspect the average in the B1G is about 3.5MM. However, that's skewed by the 9MM Harbaugh is getting. I saw Ash was getting 2.3MM.

I'll admit there are some strange salaries in the B1G. Lovie at 4MM from Indy. Ferentz has a contract that's never been easily understood.

I'm considering two other things as well. One, 9MM buyout and two, the school is already operating in the red.

In the end, I'd put Rutgers on par with Maryland. Locks is getting 2.5 I believe.

Has Rutgers fallen all the way to the bottom? I think we have some on here that could go and coach the S. Knight? I mean these guys had a lot to say about how Coach Saban is coaching! ;) But to the best of me. How in the world could Rutgers try to hire someone they fired the during middle season?

Is Rutgers the worse HC job in P5? And big 10 gifted them into conference...lol

Let's count the ways:

1. No fan base
2. No facilities that can compete with the rest of the conference (indoor practice facility, modern weight room, stadium)
3. No chance to win the conference (annually competing with Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin)
4. Must compete with two NFL teams (Jets, Giants) for fans and attendance
5. No history of success

So, a definite maybe?
