Golson I was opposed to because of how he played, not who he played for. I would be very surprised if he did come to Alabama, but if he did come, I know he would not just be handed the job. Our staff is going to play the QB that gives us the best chance to win, whether he is a transfer, true frosh, redshirt or whatever. With what appears to be a shutdown type defense this fall, we my even resort to a "game manager" type QB. If Braxton Miller does come and does win the job I expect that our players would rally behind him. Still, there could be team chemistry issues based on familiarity that would not work in his favor.
