niksdav, Lester should keep his mouth shut and let his play on the field reflect his attitude. Becoming bulletin board material isn't a good thing when the bunch you are playing have enough motivation for them.

To be fair, I really didn't think what Lester said was all that outlandish. Niksdav makes a good point.

What was he supposed to say. He really did not do THAT much trash talking.

If it were a Bama player I would hope they kept their mouths shut about the other teams but Lester really didn't say anything that rude or crazy. He is just trying to be positive.

The only reason it made me raise my eyebrows is those comments came following a game they struggled in...against, UT Martin.

If it has been a big win against a UF type of team, I could understand them...

Auburn has struggled in all areas this year I think everyone is aware of that. The only chance to save anything of their season is to win their last two games. Lester is a senior, I think he was trying to give his teammates a little confidence. Even with confidence their is little chance they win either one.

I just don't agree with bashing players of any team. They are not paid, they are still kids, all of them want to win, so what if he said he thinks they will win.

That's one of the reasons I said earlier that it made me raise my eyebrows when I heard it...especially coming after who they had just played.

Ya know what....i had Cody 1 1/2 away from me after the game down by thier bus...and i had actaully forgotten about this. I wish i hadn't i'd have asked him if wanted to recant that statment.
