From the story:

Per NCAA rules, college coaches are not allowed to comment on recruits. Attempts to reach Georgia coaches and communications officials late Monday were unsuccessful.

What I want to know is, if the coaches aren't allowed to comment on recruits, why did these people try to contact them?

Well...obviously there was a lack of communication...lack of management.
Such a sad story for the recruit and his family and friends.

Well, recinding a scholarship is a colleges right and not a bad thing in and of itself..

But the timing mustve flat out embarrassed the player in front of his family and friends, I dont blame the Highschool coach at all for being mad.

Seems a bit silly... cause in the end, if a kid from that school wants to visit UGA (or go to UGA), there isn't anything that can stop UGA from recruiting them... and there shouldn't be.
