🏀 Block or Charge? It's to the point officiating no longer makes any sense to me.

I guess because there are so many games going at once.. there needs to be a bunch of refs because the amount of bad officiating in basketball is mind boggling.

We just came back from a big high school basketball tournament in Destin and the refs were embarrassingly bad. My sons team went the championship game and lost to a great team out of Tennessee. If the refs would have called a very similar charge call as thaw one you showed but it was just outside the lane..our guys would have won the tournament. Everyone in the gym knew it everyone their fans and players. When it happened they all sat down or looked upset until the guy called a charge from In front of their bench.. the ref standing 3 feet away let himself get overruled.. it was bad. Kid made a the shot on the charge and made a clutch free throw to send them up one in the final seconds.

It was one of 10-15 bad calls in the game that went both ways. In varsity basketball you will get one “competent” ref and two stooges every game.. it’s not much better for college games. I don’t even recognize NBA as basketball anymore

Yep...obvious....
I ref ed. Somelow level games......its tough....but at college level....that’s inexcusable.... but i saw the nfl game where "labron...who can do no wrong " picked up ball and took a couple steps....started dribbling again
...with ref right by his side watching....
What are they thinking
