🏈 Best returning SEC QB

Saw an article on Yahoo! earlier, tried to click it but it didn't seem to exist anymore lol.

But the headline mentioned Nick Marshall being the top returning SEC QB.

Of returning QBs, (I think) we've got:

Auburn - Nick Marshall
Ole Miss - Bo Wallace
Arkansas - Brandon Jennings
Mississippi State - Dak Prescott
Florida - Jeff Driskel
Mizzou - Maty Mauk
Tennessee - Justin Worley

.. with South Carolina, 'Bama, LSU, Georgia, and TAMU with new starters.

No idea what the status of UK and Vandy are, I think UK's starter transferred, and Vandy is all transtion-y so I haven't really been paying attention as of late.

That list is all SEC QBs (and projected starters) whereas this is just returning starters. Should I merge the threads, or keep them separate? My apologies for spamming.

If Mauk is going to be considered a returning starter you have to say UofSC's Dylan Thompson is as well. They've both started four games in their careers. There's a huge difference between the two. Thompson is going into his fifth year in Spurrier's system, Mauk his second in Pinkel's.

Quite frankly, I don't know if this question can be answered. Just as an example, if you take Marshall and put him in Richt's offense how do you rate him?

There are so many variables with QB's in the SEC right now I can't come up with a baseline from which to judge one versus the other.
