Okay, I will leave this question open for a bit but there has been a change this year to the BAMA basketball jerrsey. What is it?
No takers so....
The silver tab with the script A on the back of the neckline, unique to Nike teams.
A gold tab means they won a National Title. A silver tab means they went to the Final Four.
This began in 2019. You will notice UF and UK have the gold tabs. We were awarded the silver tab and going forward.
This logo is finally coming to the AL UA license plates this year... about time.
We have any update on our new brandling license? Still holding out extremely limited hope for us to go Jumpman. My son is all Jordan and Jumpman brand now and loves the stuff. I'd have to get a second mortgage if we went Jordan.
Haven't heard anything on it in a while.
I never understood the value of a football relationship with a basketball player brand. The materials, fit, style and colors are no different than a regular Nike uniform. What’s the benefit besides $$$ to the school? We have any update on our new brandling license? Still holding out extremely limited hope for us to go Jumpman. Before Michigan played Washington last year Desmond was talking about reasons UM had improved. He said "Jumpman;" recruiting exposure.I never understood the value of a football relationship with a basketball player brand. It’s still Nike. Put it side-by-side with a Nike jersey without logos and you can’t tell the difference. It's a different design and attention to detail. Different fit and style. There's not another athlete brand that has stood the test of time. Jordan is a killer golfer and his brand has leaked into golf, he owns a golf course in Florida that is highly private. As of now it's a small club of universities that hold the sponsorship, so I am willing to bet it could assist in recruiting as well.
The $80 dollar hoodie with Nike is now $140 under Jumpman. I'd assume UA would get more from apparel licensing royalties. It’s still Nike. Put it side-by-side with a Nike jersey without logos and you can’t tell the difference.

@OldPlayer reminds me of something else I've read. I remember reading something about Nike dividing up the color schemes from the two lines where Jumpman would have the 'corner' on the old/retro color schemes and designs schools have used. There's not a whole lot there for Bama fan (retro) but the same can be said for Michigan, right?Personally I don't care about the jersey, I'm talking about all the produced items for the university. No matter who Alabama goes with the jersey ain't changing. Michigan's facility has a really cool display of all the items made for their colorways that only they get. That's cool to players and fans.
