🏀 Battle in Seattle ~ No. 16 Alabama 91, No. 3 Gonzaga 82. I

Just one big note from the game: there isn't a single defender that can stay in front of Quinerly. It's not just his incredible handles or speed. This guy has incredible court vision and knows how to breakdown the defense.

This was Shack's best game ever in a crimson uniform. He makes some interesting shot selections, but they work. He's a magician, period.

I freaking love Charles Bediako. He is a relentless big man who can run, protect the rim, and dominate the boards. I don't think he will be around next season.

The guard depth on this team make us a final four contender. Miles is contributing more than I thought he would this year. Oats coached him really hard in garbage time last season, and it's paying dividends. Davison has been night and day. That dunk looked like he was shot out of a cannon. On top of this all, they're so unselfish. When we push the ball upcourt, you can see the chemistry these guys have with each other. It just makes us so dangerous.
Completely agree with those points. I will add that this was Davison's best game so far in a crimson uniform. Now I expect there will be better but he is getting more and more comfortable and confident. He looks like a guy that will be able to take over a game at some point this season.

I was telling myself we looked more Gonzaga than Gonzaga did last night. The unselfishness and extra passes were big time.

Bama had 15 assists and just 12 turnovers. Just an incredible effort, and did it 2500 miles from home in a very tough (loud) environment. I had convinced myself there was a path for maybe the team getting hot from 3 and winning a very close one if lots of things things went right... never seriously considered what was almost a wire to wire lead and a win going away... Bama led for over 34 minutes.

Yep very surprising to me. I watched the Gonzaga/Duke game and my impression from that game was these guys were in a different league than Bama but it certainly did not look that way last night.

I agree. Boy oh boy were they loud. They really surprised me with how loud they made it appear on tv it was.

I outlined a path as well a week or so ago, but never expected that level of domination.

I would love to have heard the conversation between Oats and Few after the game Few was not happy.

Few looks like a fuggin cry baby.

Not saying I adore Coach K, but when they did a little video of him to honor Coach K before their game you could just see he was struggling to say something decent about someone else. It was an arrogance like we see with Dabo.
