I doubt Oats addresses a position change so late in the season. It's gotta be folly that JD is a one and done, so next year with the recruits coming in next year, I hope that's a possibility.
There's got to be a timeout clause in their contracts. No way we have two of the most stubborn human beings on the planet coaching at the same place.

They go from one extreme to the other faster and more often than any of the Top 25 teams I’ve watched play the past few years. One minute they look like a Final Four team and the next they look like a neigh pickup team.

Since nobody else will say it….I will. Nate Oats is not an “IN GAME” coach. He cannot make in game adjustments.
This is where we miss Herb, Petty, and Reese. No leadership whatsoever is allowing South Carolina to chip away and build momentum.
While these last few minutes have been great, it also helps that USCe has pretty much quit. Great! This was supposed to be a big win.
