Seven different players hit a 3 last night that's pretty strong.

Big 3 point shooting last night by the young men in Crimson. Stevens, played his best game on the offensive end for the season and Philon shot well again. Holloway is just a beast shooting the ball. Dioubate played his usual tough defense but added a nice shooting touch.

On defense, I am still not happy with our defensive rebounding. We get pushed around too much and do not box out well. Omouri (sp) and Nelson have to be stronger. Sherrill is giving us some nice minutes but needs look to score some in the paint.

Now comes the VERY DIFFICULT part of the schedule. Best of luck to our young men.

Maybe our defense is improved and that is also a factor? Usually more than one reason.

I do wish we could get Reid back to really have another big body for preventing 2nd chance opportunities.

This... I was expecting Reid to really hit his stride come March but then the injury happened. I guess it gives other players more playing time like #10 and #!5... Same with the guard rotation with Writesell being injured gives the guard rotation more playing time. Some really good depth to be able to have player injuries like those two and not miss a beat.

That would account for fouls while defending, but doesn't account for fouls being called while Bama is on offense. And that number has dropped just like the first.

Last seasons we saw Bama lose a few when the defense they were facing was physical: a lot of contact. We're seeing that almost every game now because that's the blueprint they see for beating Bama. IE: The way Mark is being played both down under and when he's outside: teams have been "peppering" him all season.

A&M vs Mizzou this past weekend was one of the more physical games I've seen. I know BOTH of those rosters were in ice Saturday night.
