Just watched the Rockies grab defeat from the jaws of victory… gave up 4 in the 9th to lose 6-5. Poor guys are basically a AA squad trying to fight at the MLB level.

Starting pitching has been decent. The problem is Snitker keeps going to the same two guys in the 8th and 9th innings. The Braves finally brought up Kimberly and maybe he will help out. Scoring tuns with runners in scoring position has also been a problem. Doesn’t anyone bunt anymore with a sacrifice to move runners over? Little things win games and the Braves do not do little things well.

When I was a freshman in HS, we were playing Buckhorn in the first round of the state playoffs and I got the start in right field. Early in the game, I threw out a guy at 2nd that was trying to stretch a single into a double. Around the 4th or 5th inning, I threw a guy out at 3rd that was trying to tag up from 2nd. One inning later and Buckhorn has a runner on 3rd and they hit a routine fly to right. I catch it and more or less am conceding the run and hit my cutoff man. The Buckhorn fans start giving their coach pure HELL! He snaps back, “Did yall not see the two guys he’s ALREADY thrown out?”

Interfering with a ball in play is bad enough, doing it with your own team playing defense should equal ticket revocation. When he tossed that ball down to Alek Thomas at the end on that play from last night, Thomas should have drilled him with it right in the teeth.

Good news: The dipshit has been banned for the rest of the season. They should do it for life, but probably need the ticket money out of him each season.
