Can you put yourself in the place of that adrenaline pumping?

Yeah, but I've never thought it was cool to take a picture flipping off the camera. Pretty lame. I've simply never understood why folks think that's cool. Shit, they should have shot gunned some beers or lit cigars and shown some class over a "fuck you" to a team they aren't even rivals with. I will say, unless there was some shit talking and bitterness during the game I'm more open to it, but flipping the camera off is juvenile and even then not cool, or a flex as they like to call it, in my eyes. Low hanging fruit.

Because we've never been there.

This is why the photo was made and sent. I'm not saying they should have done it, in fact, they should have just let the scoreboard do the talking... but the game had a lot of chirping in it, which started when OSU was wearing out Bama to that 10-0 lead. Bama made a point to chirp back when they were clawing back in it. On the OSU side, they all of a sudden didn't care for it. They also didn't like Lebron's bat flip on his 2nd HR. That led to more words. In the end, the photo was one last cannon shot from the victors. They should have just celebrated and kept it at that, but they didn't. Supposedly, Vaughn was not thrilled with it. But I bet he ain't mad about the overall attitude.

@BamaFan334

Fine line between confidence and cocky! I’m here for it! If I were Vaughn, I would probably make a statement to the media, but in that locker room, I’d be all for it.

Okay.

Tell me when you've been down 10-0 and came back with a walk-off after hearing trash talk all afternoon. I get people don't like the look; in public. Locker room...

I could tell you of a couple of times actually. I played college ball myself, high level travel ball, American Legion, and AAA baseball in Georgia (when AAAA was the highest classification). Was fortunate to have walk offs at every level of ball I played in, one coming in the State Playoffs. Heck, I could give you a good football story against our county rival similar to this as well.

I'm not going to sit here and say there are things I haven't said or done that aren't worse than this, but I can absolutely promise you I carried myself well on and off the field where people would find something like this out of character for me. Can also say that I never strived to shock the senses of others like people do today either. Did my job and went on to the next thing.

Tell us the story, Casey.

Tell us the story, Casey.

High school playoffs my Junior year. Playing Crisp County High School in Game 2 of Best of 3. Top of 7th, two outs, runner on second and I'm up. Always practiced how to move a runner over by hitting away from your runners, so went opposite field with a line drive to right center and runner scores, we win the game by that run after retiring the bottom of the 7th in order.

Little League against Albany Dixie in the Final 4 of State for 12U. Runner on third, ground ball hit to left field, runner scores, we walk it off. Put us in the Championship

High School Junior year, regular season. Two outs, bottom of 7, line drive over third base, winning run scores.

Out of town in Charlotte, but I am pretty certain I still have newspaper clippings of them and I can snap pictures of. I have one box that may be them, if not, at my momma's. I'll see what I can find.

I was a damn good ball player. My size held me back. Hell, I graduated high school at 125 lbs. I even got taller in college, but still couldn't put on weight, so that was always my hang up.

Well, I simply meant I've been in pressure situations for the moment and never gave anyone but my team my energy. Dang sure didn't make it back to the locker room so geeked up that I get the team together for a picture and post it online. As I stated before, on to the next thing for me. It does take me a while to calm down after a fist fight, but I tried leaving those in college for the most part. My old out of shape ass would get rocked these days.
