OU evens the series with a 4-2 win. I though Zane Adams managed to pitch fairly well overall... had to fight trough some things. He gave his team a chance though. Pen did their job and kept OU off the board for the final 3 innings. But other than Fowler, and I guess Torres, the approach at the plate by Bama was a bit lethargic. Some really bad AB's and appracoes all game. OU racked up 13 K's in all... and not a lot of hard contact on balls in play. Hopefully, they can regroup and take the series tomorrow.

Is that where they keep the ‘larger’ gals?

A "get off my lawn" moment. Why do they continue to make baseball fields in such weird outfield designs and distances?

On another note: 17 runs scored TH, 6 last night, and the total published right now is just over 14. Wind, as you can see, coming in from left field.

@Brandon Van de Graaff what MLB park is it where there is a hill running up to the fence in center? Those differences...

The only other sport I know of (that I follow) where the field dimensions can change is soccer.

That was in Houston but they did away with it a few years ago. I didn’t care for that either. But I like the parks having their own unique features, dimensions, etc. in most all cases.

My lawn. I didn't say it didn't have its share of weeds.

I like the older parks having different dimensions because it makes a little sense to me. Take Wrigley. The apartments/buildings that overlook the field are three centuries old. (An article about a year ago talking about the possibility, or plans, to tear them down.) In 1914, when it was built, I can't see the planners of Chicago entertaining the idea, "we can remove that building, close that street, move..." They were built around, inside of, the city and its existing structure.

What reason did Auburn have for their left field wall? Other than, "hey look" like they did with their video board in the football stadium? It's an augmented feature.

Again. It's a "get off my lawn" thing. I like natural versus augmented in a lot of things ...

I was just surprised at the take and wanted to make sure I understood. Nothing more.

Observation more than a take, I guess. It's just an anomaly in a game measured in fractions of inches.

It's probably all the fault of Auburn. I was watching some of the highlights of their loss, at home, to Arkansas yesterday. The damn wall just gets on my nerves.

Yeah. It's Auburn's fault.

EVERYTHING is auburn’s fault. They ruin everything. They are like roaches, what they don’t eat, they walk through & ruin.
