It's so you can make donations to me for my brilliant posts.

The way our contest has worked in the past its almost like having your own football investment broker- some might call him a bookie , and place wagers with your hard earned Bama Bucks, with whoever has the most Bama Bucks by season's end being the winner. We had over/under, against the spread and even straight up. It will be something like that this year, but TP tells me the software will be much better.

Sort of. You'll be betting against the house just like you would in a casino.

We'll have a list of games for you to choose from. Each will carry their own odds. Straight up picks will likely come from the money line on the game itself. Picks against the spread may carry greater odds, therefore greater payout.

It won't look anything like this...but, here's an example that'll give you a rough idea where this is headed.

Those that played last year with our sportsbook on the old software...this new one KICKS ASS! It'll feature top winners, recent winners, richest members, newest event alerts feed directly to your account notifications...and yes, I can go on.

FWIW, current parameters are set as follows:

Money can be earned by new threads, replies (as long as they are over 20 characters so "bump" won't get you squat,) liked threads/posts, and attachments.

As soon as I get the banking system set up and the sportsbook built I'll credit everyone a base amount (I think I started everyone with 500 last year.) I'm not sure how much I'll credit your account with, but the ML on Texas A&M (325) vs South Carolina (-400) I'll likely start with a higher dollar amount than last year. (That's 5Dimes, btw...shocked at the UofSC number)

Count me in, I was winning it all last year and lost all my money late in the season, don't remember which game it was.

I really enjoyed this last year and had built up almost $200K by years end. Lost a bunch on the barn game though.
