Another team effort! Coach Grant has these guys playing as though they expect to win instead of.... "can we win"? A little sluggish to begin but a solid game. Andrew Steele is becoming the X factor for this team. 10 points isn't huge from the stat sheet but his 30 minutes were!!

Considering the beginning of this season this is one of the best coaching jobs I've seen in awhile.

I couldn't agree more with you Terry. At the beginning of the season, I was starting to scratch my head wondering if Coach Grant would be the man for the job. He has quickly proven me wrong and I'm glad for it.

It's the talent shift from the high post that made me give him time...and, when you combine the fact that C.M. was the guy that pegged him for the job? I had my patience.

I want that damn tourney title...

I want the tourney title as well. I think that would leave no doubt in anyones mind that we belong in the NCAA tourney this Spring. I think we deserve to be in regardless, but to hear the talking heads, we're a "bubble" team at best with no margin for error. All I heard last night from Jimmy Dykes was the West Division Title gets us nothing but a banner.

As for the refs from the Vandy game, lets allow them to go call in the MEAC or someplace.
When I first started coaching, I had the 9th grade team. I had an official to tell me to sit down and shut up and that he was a Gulf South Conference official. I told him that my thoughts of him were true then. I told him that if he was worse a piss in the GSC then he wouldn't be calling freshman ball at the small school level. All he could do was turn and walk away! The look was priceless!!

yeah i saw that BS. we got hosed. Heading into the SEC tourny with only 1 conf loss would have been awsome.

I heard them say last night that Alabama is 14-4 in games that Andrew Steele has participated in over the last 2 seasons.

No doubt that the little suspension for Green has been a big factor. He has been more of a leader since we hit conference play.
