šŸˆ BAMA stays at #2 in AP poll with a big gain on Clemson

Before saturday....
1 clemson ( shakey performance...by a pretty mediocre team..especially on D)
2 bama ( solid all around ( except ..but was msu)
3 osu ( solid performance all around it appears...but I didnt watch much)

was enough to shake clemson outta top of tree?
( if it was playoff committee...probably....but AP?)

while we all know-it doesnt matter...except to us bama fans...

No. I don't think so. I do think they'll pick up a few more first place votes (nine more in the Coaches) and I suspect OSU will pick up a couple as well.

I'm not sure Clemson will beat Notre Dame in South Bend (without Trevor Lawrence).
Spread is 6.5 points for Clemson even w/o Lawrence. Honestly I am surprised it is that close. I have not really watched ND so maybe they are better than their history has shown. Just basing my opinion on their recent history and Clemsons. I still think Clemson beats them and probably soundly.

Notre Dame Stadium has its own voodoo. There's been a few teams that went there, favored and some heavily, and walked out with a loss. Coincidently, a lot like Jordan Hare.

You may remember talk of how Auburn watered down their field, didn't cut it, etc. a few years ago before a pretty big game. As I recall the same happened with USC visiting a few years ago as well.

Normally I'd scoff at Notre Dame winning an actual big game, but I think they can beat Clemson. Like @TerryP said, they will not cut the grass and slow down the speed that has helped Clemson escape. Notre Dame is fielding a solid D, so as long as they keep Etienne from beating them they have a good shot to pull the upset.

I felt if Boston College holds Clemson before the half that they win that game. That three points changed it all in my opinion. Notre Dame is better than Boston College, and I don't think Cornell Powell has another eleven catch game two weeks in a row.pp
