šŸˆ Bama Spring Quarterback Battle

That much though?
It depends entirely on the soil. On a relatively sandy field, you'll find the crown to be—on average—about a foot. You move into north Mississippi and that red clay and now you're looking at 18" or so.

That's a hybrid Bermuda turf they're practicng on where the soil has undoubtedly been moved in so that tells me the crown falls somewhere in the middle of those two extremes.

Well... I know you guys dont know a lot of us Woolly exiles all that well but trust me when I tell you it would be pure gold if we could get @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris involved in this conversation. Where you at my ol E-buddy ? Downward spiral release, camera man angles, field slant - optical illusion, field turf, etc. etc. etc.

I've never seen a better opportunity for a classic SLO explanation. :laughinggif:

I, for one, would love to have seen what Brodie could do with a good set of linemen, receivers, bones and ligaments. Most accurate passer i have seen in crimson.
ftfy

Late to this party, who brought the MD 20/20 and malt liquor? Brodie was cursed with injury problems, hell he screwed up his knee running out of bounds. Dude had the best arm and accuracy of any Bama QB since the 60's. AJ might be close and he is not made of glass but he is an ass. Hoping Barnett is the real deal but as long as he and Hurts down the line are smart with the football, that is all Bama needs. We can win with sub par arms, as long as they have other qualities, taking care of the football.

@TerryP Well I thought I understood how to embed that type of video but obviously I messed it up somehow. lol

First thing, grab the embed video from the video. It's on the far right in this one. Copy.
That code has to be 'wrapped' in code to post as a video. It works just like BB code.

Here's how it's wrapped.

Code:
[parseHTML] the code you just copied [/parseHTML]

Oh, one more thing. T&B , you don't have to do that the majority of the time. There's several that are built into the language here and it's updated often.

On these sites, just copy the embed code and paste it. The last time I checked the 'hack' to get it work with the way they post videos on AL.com hadn't been figured out yet. (A lot of news sites use that software...Oregon comes to mind.)

List of those current.

I kinda see where @TerryP is coming from.

Star Jackson had that same kind of release too tho, no matter what surface he was on. Ball seemed to always have a downward slant on short to intermediate passes. I think it's more of a release thing. Could be a result of longer arms or hand size?
