This may in fact be the case. But one has to ask, if each neutralizes the other, which team has the advantage in the remaining 10-on-10 match up? Should Julio run Peterson deep every play, then the role that Peterson plays on special teams is impacted as they both tire. If Julio stays shallow and wide, satisfied to execute one-on-one blocking, then there is a much less crowded "down field" within which our Receivers can work to get open.
Line up JJ alone on one side. If PP lines up on JJ on the inside, JJ goes deep. If PP lines up on the outside, JJ run blocks him at the line. Either way, JJ keeps PP outside the hashes on one side of the field.
That said, I too do not predict either team scoring over 35, and a two score win by either team will surprise me. These are teams that don't care about style.
