🏈 Score AL A BAM A vs Boomer Sooner PT.2

Although our offense has struggled. Our defense is playing as well as any in the country. Other than the turnovers we whipped OU up and down the field. Any OU fan that wants to be honest with themselves is probably worried that we beat them 30-10 like the score in the first game should have been. Look for a lot of screens and action to the tight end in this game.

Regardless of the line, I have a lot of concerns about this game based on how Bama has played the last two games. It will not be a surprise if this team goes to Norman and stinks it up. Hope they do not but just hard to be optimistic. I do have some hope that getting players healthy and back will give the team a boost and maybe the team can perform closer to mid year. Not sure how you can get Simpson to flip that switch. Maybe Grubb can dial up something to get him early success so he can get his confidence back.

I wonder if anyone has been through this mental exercise.

OU put 23 on the board when they played Bama; one offensive touchdown with a INT for a TD and two fumbles deep in Bama's territory.

OU put up 17 when they played LSU and Missouri to close out this year's regular season.

So where do projections of "27" come from? Going with 20 for OU might begin to make some sense; but it doesn't either.

The numbers don't make sense here. (Which fits because a lot of Bama fans havent' as well these last two years.) What makes sense is a low scoring, low possession game.
Only 2 members picked OU to score over 21. They’ve hit 24 with 14 minutes to go. May not make sense, like some of our fans, but this team has often not made sense this season either. No doubt about it.

One member picked OU to score 24 and one picked them to score 27. Mateer has looked pretty good.
