BAMA In The NFL

Scratching my head on this one...Is he a bust if the Seahawks reached sooner than they should have?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>James Carpenter has really been a pretty spectacular bust thus far. At multiple positions</p>&mdash; Sam Monson (@PFF_Sam) <a href="https://twitter.com/PFF_Sam/statuses/397290375276429312">November 4, 2013</a></blockquote>

Yeah I never understood why they drafted him that early. No one even had a first round grade on him. Probably not even a 2nd.

Mark Barron had a solid game against the Hawks also. Had an INT 11 tackles, intercepted a pass, and knocked down 2 passes.

Man, I was having a hard time watching the game because my girl is gone for the week so I was talking to her thru the game... but as I looked up one time Lacy broke off an insane 50+ yard TD run. He was running over and thru defenders everytime I caught a glimpse. When Rodgers went out of the game he was literally carrying the team on his back all the way down to about the 30 before Wallace threw a pick. If Rodgers is seriously hurt they're going to have to try and ride Lacy until he gets back (if he does)... and my fantasy team will love that... but Aaron Rodgers is also my QB :icon_eek: Geno Smith is my backup :icon_eek:

Eddie Lacy on career-high 150-yard night: 'I just ran the ball like any other week' (Twitter responds)

"Hell of a player, hell of a running back. "You make sure he touches the ball and we have to block good for him. The more and more he gets going, the better he is and the less defenses want to play against us. That's just how it goes."

Great game by Lacy, one that we all knew he could have.

You know it was pretty funny, when he got drafted the idiot from Yahoo (cant remember who it was) said that Lacy wouldn't last because he had too much mileage on him running in that "run heavy Alabama offense" and that the there already wasn't much tread left on the tire. Then he went on to talk about how great of a pick Montee Ball was for Denver. Lets compare those two... Ball had almost 1,000 carries in college while Lacy had less than 400... gotta love these idiots.

Cris Collinsworth, however, was pointing out how Lacy shared the ball at Alabama so he's not that wore down and will be able to last a long time.

Just glad that horse face Elway made the mistake of drafting Ball over Lacy. What Lacy would have done in that Denver offense is making my butt hurt just thinking about it.

I'll never understand it...the life of a RB is short, and Ball's is really short based on his carries at Wisconsin. Ball basically has an extra 2 years of NFL carries under his belt.

Montee Ball 924 carries (2009-2012)
Eddie Lacy 354 carries (2010-2012)
