Kareem Jackson looks like a complete beast at Houston now. Even when he gives the receivers a 5 yards cushion, he still has the speed and awareness to catch up and deflect the pass or make a big tackle. Look for him to have a solid year.

Fluker only played one series but looked raw. Got beat a lot, but caught on. Once he gets that first jump down, he should be good to go.

Warmack is a hogmalla.

Hogmalla? eheheheheh

Also to add to this, I think Nico Johnson is a starter. I looked on the KC Forums and they seem to be impressed with him. Said he played very well.

Right now hes listed as a #2 but everything I've heard has suggested in practices he bounces between the 1s and 2s... I think by the season opener hes starting inside backer.

You are correct....Damn that sucks he went to the Chiefs...Damnit...

Anyways, I think this should be the official thread of Bama players in the NFL. Keep it going all year long to keep up all updated and chat about how everyone is doing in the NFL.

Josh Chapman doing his thing, film junkie.

http://posttrib.suntimes.com/sports...apman-griff-whalen-having-breakout-camps.html

Now that he’s healthy, Chapman has been impressive.

On one running play last week, Chapman shoved 300-pound center Samson Satele and 325-pound right guard Mike McGlynn into 314-pound right tackle Gosder Cherlius and tight end Dwayne Allen. With four blockers down, the play went nowhere.

“You can see just what we saw on tape coming out of Alabama before he got injured,” coach Chuck Pagano said. “He’s a load. It’s like sticking a 900-pound safe in the middle of the line of scrimmage. He’s tough to get out of there and he’s smart as a whip. He’ll call out every run play based on formation and backfield sets before it ever happens.

If Chapman continues to play this well in the preseason and regular season, the Colts might finally have their anchor in the middle to stop the run.

Whats crazy is right after they drafted him, they traded Javy lol That AZ secondary is pretty stacked, damn near an All-SEC secondary with those players. Shad startin for them too.

I like the idea.

I read the same article the other day, supposedly Chapman was expected to be their starter at nose last year before the setback. Hes gonna be a good one.

Warmack played good. Fluker was "ehh"...I hate saying this but Dareus doesn't look like he's living up to that #3 overall pick. I'm hoping he picks it up this year, but there are a lot of Buffalo fans upset with him. He did lose his brother last year, so that could play a role in it.

Dareus just mentioned in an interview/article that he didn't do what he wanted last year and his brother was in his head. He's expecting things to be different this year.

Also, check out Julio...just damn!

Trent Richardson will start versus the Lions for a couple of series.

Talking about him, look at his rookie year and compare it with Emmit Smith.

Trent: 950 yards, 3.6 YPC, 11 TD's. 1317 total yards, 12 total TD's
Emmit: 937 yards, 3.9 YPC, 11 TD's. 1165 total yards.

Guess who is now the OC that was Emmit Smith's OC in his 2nd year? Yep, Norv Turner himself.

Not to say Trent will have the type of career Emmit have, because he still has Brandon Weeden at QB and not Troy Aikman, but you can expect improvement. Patt Shurmur was one of the worst offensive play callers in the NFL last year and rode TR into the ground with his play calling. Trent needs to stay healthy though.

Not to mention Trent played half the season with cracked ribs.

Both Julio & T-Rich got their first action of pre-season tonight...

- Julio had 3 catches for 55 yards and a TD.
- Richardson had 6 carries for 33 yards
- Courtney Upshaw had 1 tackle
- Terrence Cody had 2 tackles
- DeMeco Ryans had 1 tackle
- Michael Williams had 1 catch for 6 yards
- DeQuan Menzie had 2 tackles and 1.0 sack

DJ Fluker had a good game, missed a block that led to a sack early but came back and run blocked his man literally into the endzone on a TD run.

Side note, Philly Girl gotta be happy with the way Michael Vick looks right now. This offense was tailor made for him, I havent seen him look this sharp passing ever.

Chargers O-Line in shambles still. Loving every bit of it. Rivers turnover prone as hell right now and not looking to slow down. God I'm loving it. New additions on the Raiders defense, including Nick Roach, Maiv, and Burnnet in the Linebacker core. So damn tired of losing to the Chargers.

Anyways, yeah Fluker is struggling a bit pass protection wise, but did you see him run block? Good god that man completely mauled over the Bears defense. Loved his enthusiasm after the TD. You could hear the crowd booing him. I honestly don't care that he's at San Diego, just happy to see him succeed.

I saw Richardson have a good night. Still can see he's a bit danged up, and just a tad bit slower than what he's used to running, but still have a solid night. 5.5 yards per carry

Julio is a monster. No need to show his highlights or show stats. Everyone knows he is a complete monster and Ryan does a great job at connecting with him.
