🏀 BAMA dominates Texas A&M 79-57 to open SEC play

We played with a lot more poise and under better control tonight. Good to see our guys fast break and when it wasn't there be a little more patient and bring it back out. Braxton can't be healthy but he made some good passes anyway. Tell you, folks, we sure needed to hold serve at home against a good Aggie team. Best win of the season, by far.

Biggest disappointment, Riley's out for the year. Man, that hurts this young group.

Unfortunately, that place has some kind of voodoo placed upon it. Never seem to win there.
To date, there's two teams in the SEC that have winning records over Bama basketball. I'm sure you, and everyone else, thought Kentucky as soon as you read that sentence. Can you guess the other team? It's Arkansas.

I mention that to point to this. Bama and Vandy started playing each other in B-ball in 1924. The series is currently tied at 68-68.

If I recall this correctly, the last time Bama won in Nashville was Coach Stallings first year at the Capstone: 1990. It's high Tide time the Tide gets a win there.
