Best QB in the conference? Idk LSU's fielding this new guy with an arm, and Trevor Knight for TAM torched our secondary as a freshman in the Sugar Bowl.
We're gonna need Jalen to be a better passing threat going forward

There was one catch where I faulted Humphrey, and that was the TD pass after they recovered the onside kick. The rest, from what I saw, were perfectly thrown passes capped off with great catches.
Everyone always attacks our defense when an opposing QB plays lights out. No, sometimes you need an offense that's better than mediocre to win football games. Sometimes it helps to have the best QB in the conference - a luxury which we've never enjoyed.
No, Humphrey and Harrison were beat all day. Kelly had some good passes, but watch Marlon's film and you will see he is toast more times than you are wanting to think. He may be a first round pick, but so was Jared Goff, what does that mean?

Agreed. Humphrey just looked sloooowww... Could not run with the receivers like he has been. Harrison too. Either he was thinking way too much or really banged up, cause he was not quick to the ball or in coverage. On the big TD to Ingram he made a huge mental mistake and left SDH out to dry... Hopefully a learning experience.
Yes Ole Miss made some great plays... But isn't that what's supposed to happen in an SEC football game? We have talented guys also on defense who are supposed to do special things, but it rarely happened today. Ironically we have more highly ranked skill guys and for whatever reason don't make those same type of plays vs Ole Miss. We're supposed to have the best TE in the nation... Yet he's basically non existent. Their system is just bound to make plays vs any defense, but I think we all expected our DB's to make some plays as well. It really never happened today. Thankfully Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams, and Allen made huge plays and Eddie's punt return went to the house. Otherwise the DB's would be the talk of the town tonight, and not in a good way
Kelly had some perfectly thrown balls and some outstanding catches made by his receivers. I don't doubt he's the best QB in the conference. I'm glad he's graduating.
Best group of receivers we have seen so far. There were a couple of coverage busts, but it is hard for me to fault our cover guys on the jump ball plays, when they are going against guys at least three inches taller, who are athletic in their own right. SDH, Minkah, and Harrison all had mental errors which really hurt.
I thought we let up right after the Jonathan Allen TD.
With the pressure the D is putting on Kelly, just letting our DBs on an island all the time against that size at receiver is starting to feel like a fool's errand.
The pass they originally called a td but after review was down at the one was unreal...the double coverage was there, the ball went through a space of about the size of a basketball hoop.
I'm I the only one that glad we will never even, even see Jim Kelly, OH! I mean Chad Kelly again!! If he not a first round than the NFL will need it head check! By the way one again if it wasn't for our DEFENSE we would had lose and SPECIAL TEAM! Jackson got some move now don't he!
