No way in hell that the SEC and ACC can forge ahead now. I called it when the Ivy League cancelled first. Same thing happened in March. I HATE giving them that much credibility, but they have again set the precedent.

Cannot care about the student athletes wellbeing if you support spring football for seniors and juniors who are NFL bound. Thats alot of football to be played in a short period of time.

The timing of this is interesting to me. This really makes no logical sense. How can a medical group find it ok to be in school but not ok to play sports. Aren't they just as liable?

Probably not as liable. I doubt the school would lose a lawsuit from a student who caught COVID at school, especially if the school has enforced guidelines. Players are a little different there. No way to social distance and wear a mask while playing most sports really.

What does the progression of recent events tell you is going to happen when these kids get on campus and start doing their thing....?

The $ grab is to "try". Tuition & fees paid up front. Housing gets reimbursed. But without the "try", little Timmy is going to Community College instead.
