šŸ“” B1G cancels fall sports, PAC12 follows.

IMO this country has been duped because some folks don't like the results of an election of the President. First they say well the majority of people voted for Hillary. Then Russia stole the election. Then Trump colluded with Russia. Trump had a mistress. He hates __________ blacks, Mexicans, illegals, Chinese, women, etc. None of those lies stick because they are not the truth. Then a virus becomes Trump's fault. We the people are nuts to let this $hit continue. You can vote him out if you want too, but the alternative choices give me nightmares. He took matters in his own hand today with his executive orders. This is not the first or last virus we are going to face but I am not going to purchase any products from China. So without being barefoot and naked I'm all in for made in the USA. Just read on my mask made in China.:mad:WTF
Dayum....mine says "Fruit of the Loom" :p

It's not intended for medical use, and not proven to reduce the transmission of disease, but never the less the CDC ... SMH. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

But hey, at least it's made here. ;) Oh, wait. It says imported. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø X2.

What happened in the last week that caused the B1G officials to rethink their stance?

Kids can go to school, but can't play sports. We can go to grocery store and restaurants, but can't go to sporting events?

Where / what is the logic behind this?

Nebraska stating tall for now.

Lots of things going on......some just dont fit...
Walmarts open...churches closed....
Bars must close at 10....so virus is more contagious after 10?
Applebees menu is 50% of normal.... so eating other items is more contagious?

Went to restaurant yesterday....no mask...every table full.... full menu...
Did wipe tables down between patrons..but dont they always do that?

Right now...just way to much scare tactics to believe its JUST about the virus
( i fully believe the virus is deadly and contagious....but.....)

I think it would be near impossible to pull off, but if Sankey could somehow do it, I would give him credit for once. But, if the SEC can gather a group of teams to join, maybe it's just cherry picking teams out there that are willing to play but don't have their conference backing (like OSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, etc). One of the biggest, but far from the only, obstacles would still be some school presidents standing in the way. BUT, if it happened, and we ended up with 30-40 teams playing a season on regional schedules that still concluded in a 4 team playoff, it would more than solve the money concerns for those included schools from the negotiated TV package. Meanwhile, the will-nots would be left as the have-nots. If nothing else, I appreciate that the SEC is at least trying to make a go at this and not showing up the the battle with a white flag instead of a firearm.

The point made is.........
TRYING.......yep....at least trying.....
What a nightmare.......but...wedont need a conference championship...or playoff....just some fricking entertaining games would do....
Generate some revenue for those wanting to participate...
For those that dont.... "see ya"

I suppose the benefit here in all of this. It took years to understand concussions and responsibility. At least they recognize responsibility now?

Just not sure why they're waffling now. They look confused, lost, and devoid of leadership.

College football is a business. How often have we heard that?

So, if it's truly a business and these presidents ran it like a business we would not be seeing what we're seeing with decisions that will shut down college towns.

To borrow a phrase, "they don't have any skin in the game."

Not necessarily.

If they believe they can make more $ in the Spring than in the Fall, isn't that exactly what a business owner would do?
