When it comes to the new five stars, another California quarterback stands out. Corona (Calif.) Santiago dual-threat Blake Barnett, a former Notre Dame commitment who is pledged to Alabama, has been outstanding and will bring a different level of versatility to the quarterback position in Tuscaloosa.
Barnett is a big-time winner and the combination of his throwing and running ability makes him one of the most special quarterbacks in this class. He has the physical tools to sit in the pocket and find receivers all over the field, but what makes him really special is his ability to prolong plays with his feet and even gain yardage on designed runs. It's a tremendous asset to his game and something that could be a real asset at Alabama.

Cornwell is a massive guy. Just a big burley guy. If he can run, folks better watch out for him as well.
