It's a blessing to have this kind of problem honestly. I'll only remotely worry if we don't grab a solid back in the 2011 class. We're actually logged jammed at RB right now, any more talent would be a burden on scholarship number.

Its hard to believe that just a couple of years ago we were beyond extremely thin at that spot.
As for RB's, obviously depth is going to scare people away. But because of that depth we also aren't recruiting too many guys so its going to seem like there isnt that much interest nationally.
Yeah we've stockpiled RB's and LB's. I think where we really need to focus now is solid big-time OL players. I know we got Carpenter and Fluker and those guys are great for us, but I think that'll be the key to our future is solidifying that line.

Very good point. On Scout, I used to argue the point with many posters that JPW was not a horrible player. He was an adequate player with a below average offensive line.
How many times was Brodie hospitalized because he had no offensive line? How many times should a player survive hits like the one JPW took in the LSU game? Did he whine or even have to have the game stopped? Hell no. He was one tough SOB. It tickled me when I envisioned 240 pound, 5'9", little couch surfers insulting his looks and his family and his ability.
They totally ignored the very real fact that in order to be successful as a QB, you must have some semblance of protection.
It made me frustrated at times and I would have to remind myself that 99.9% of the guys critiquing JPW's every move have never worn a cleat.
'Bama finally, finally gets a good and solid line and they win 12 games. Surprise! Not really.

No way to predict what has happened as far as recruiting goes. Show me someone that could have honestly foreseen what has happened in regards to being #1 in recruiting 2 seasons in a row or I won't believe it.
When he was first hired, LSU fans did their level best to convince all 'Bama fans that Coach Saban would never recruit as well as he was able to in LA. Oops, they certainly read that one wrong didn't they?
