🏈 Ardarius leaving early??

He can't have a better season aside from the suspension. There were times he was the only guy Jalen would look for, as it seems Kiffin's plan was usually to single a weapon out and use the f*ck out them. Ridley last year, Stewart this year. Sark will spread it around more.

For a while now I've felt this would be it for him. He's got a ton of confidence in himself, and cockiness. Didn't see him coming back for more. And in all honesty, he looks pretty damn ready. Fast/strong/aggressive and has made some bit catches. Dropped more than normal WR's but his blocking his top notch.

I could see Ardarius leaving based on a high draft grade AND the need to help his family. Possible production numbers for next year would be a stretch. Maybe CNS said that he is looking for a more EVENLY distribution of the ball to his playmakers in Sarkisian's play calling. Problem is, on any given play, Stewart good be the #1 read and is open THUS skewing his numbers or he could be the #2 or #3 read and NOT get the ball.

A buddy of mine that talks to the players.
That tells me it's more than likely AS is spinning that side of things after post-NC meetings.

If you think about this from a logic standpoint, it doesn't make sense. He's leaving because he's going to lose snaps to a true frosh? Or, to a true frosh and a guy with 10-15 catches this past season?
His story is a lot like Foster's ...

IMO this is his time. He's ready. Production can't increase much more with Ridley on the other side... Don't risk the injury. Move on up & make dat monaaaay

Adarius came in as a true athlete and his first two years at receiver it really showed. He would make circus-like catches and then he would drop the easy one. This year has been much more consistent, but I still wouldn't say polished. For my money, he's still getting better and would fundamentally keep improving if he stuck around. In the NFL, being a great athlete doesn't make you a great receiver.

I think the writting was on the wall. Hey, we have some studs coming in, Ridley is back. Now, you wanna lose some snaps and most likely see production drop, or leave and have more leverage with your most recent success? He was great for us, but he also dropped plenty of routine balls. Jeudy and Smith come in and show they can make those catches, and then where are you?
