šŸˆ Anyone know about Ryan Williams?

No it's his way of showing love for her.
I would say it’s his way of showing off his love for her. He’s not the only player who has a sister. He’s not the only player who loves his sister. He’s not the only player close to his sister. Etc.
If you follow his story then you know why he painted his fingernails.
I’m too busy raising my own kids to follow every personal detail of other child millionaires. But I do remember when hazing and other initiation rituals were widely considered to be essential to instill team identity, chemistry, and a healthy respect for veteran leadership. Even after the NCAA’s crack down on harsh hazing, I remember when all incoming freshmen still had their heads shaved. My point is, his is attention seeking behavior. You show your love for someone by how you act toward them in private, not by how you dress or carry yourself with your teammates in public. Hyper-individuality destroys the team, particularly when practiced by a newcomer. And effeminate, juvenile behavior undermines the strong, alpha-male energy needed to be dominant in a violent team sport.

This is quite harsh take. What he does on his free time and on gameday ... has nothing to do with his performance on the field, but this is way too harsh. If you're going to go there, then call out Ardarius Stewart, Tony Brown, and others in past. he don't deserve this from the fans at all. You're acting like He's doing this on purpose when hes' not. He is being who he is and fans has issue with that. Weird, weird take here.

Back in the day.... 20 years ago.. different culture. different coach, different players.
A very successful coach one time said same things win that have always won everything else is excuses. Want to know why Bear, Stallings and CNS had success? It was not catering to the societal culture or behaviors that enable undisciplined behaviors.

Seems like Ryan is a great kid and I am sure is fun and just trying to support his sister. Nothing wrong with that but this team needs some real politically incorrect alpha males.... You know what this culture would call toxic masculinity. See Jonathan Allen as an example....

I'm pretty sure every team captain under Saban, if not every team captain pre-NIL, would vehemently disagree with this.

Their records and rings speak for themselves. Privileges can certainly be earned, but entitlement prevents achievement.

"Acting like" is soy-energy. I don't blame him. I blame the expectations and standards enforced by the staff. The numbers and stats under DeBoer don't lie. If I were in charge I'd enforce more and more conformity and uniformity on the team until I had a disciplined, tough unit. Only with championships and titles would come trust from coaches and more freedom for players.

LOL this is what's wrong with society today. "He's just being his truest self!!!!" Hahaha tell that to any coach of a team sport who has ever been successful. We need WRs more like Julio Jones and Smitty, not even in terms of talent, but in modesty, focus, and work ethic.

I don't give a rats azz about his fingernails or his sister's teddy bear. But, those alligator arms I saw over the middle were concerning. Yes, the throws could have been better. Still needs to be caught though. I'm more concerned with the overall softness that the team appeared to have, along with the complete lack of focus.

These two things are connected. How you present yourself and conduct yourself reveals your focus. I feel like I'm talking to kids here with no sense of history. Successful organizations enforce cultural norms and codes of conduct to establish team unity, focus, and toughness. Williams isn't the cause of our problems; his behavior is just a symptom.

They won when they could stock pile talent, now there’s a lot more parity. There’s absolutely nothing ā€œundisciplinedā€ about Williams carrying something to remind him of his sister nor is there anything ā€œundisciplinedā€ about painting your nails, back when I was in school the emo kids did it.

I can guarantee there’s some ā€œalphaā€ males on that team, but different kind of alpha

You believe there is a Jonathan Allen type on that team that will jack you up if you are not doing things the right way? It is not going to be Ryan Williams. He is a great talent but he is not going to strike fear in the players that a Jonathan Allen will. Accountability on steroids is what is needed. Did you see the video floating around with Jonathan Alan talking to the team before a game during his time at Bama. It was alpha male on sterioids. No coaches were having to talk he was doing the tallking and it was obvious who was the enforcer.

LOL, I've told the story before about Allen almost beating Tony Brown's ass one day at practice.... instead, he kicked him out, Coaches never had to say a word. Allen was a rare breed. An absolute badass.

Allen was a different breed. We’ve not had an alpha guy like him since he left
