🏈 Anyone Going To Knoxville

Let me know if anyone has any lower level tickets, I am looking cause I would like to go. I'll be honest, not looking to pay scalper prices, but let me know what's out there if y'all see anything interesting.

I went to one game at Neyland, an aubrun game. I'd been dating an aubrun tigerette, somewhat engaged, and accompanied her to the game. i think it was '85, the year UT beat Miami in the Sugar Bowl. Our tickets were at the upper edge of the visitors' section. I was sitting on my hands as UT got out to an early lead, but by the time UT went up by a few TDs I was dealing high-fives with a guy in orange overalls. The weekend turned a little cold after that.

Wife and I went for the final curb stomping of Fulmer in Neyland. One visit was more than enough to that dumpster.

She and her dad are going on a road trip to the game, though. He's been taking her to games since she was a toddler. With us all getting older and busier, I felt it fitting they take this trip together.

Lexington is only two hours away but Bama does not get up this way too often. My only other option to see Bama play other than the LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Drive to Tuscaloosa is Knoxville.

Looking for two tickets.

After the 1982 game there was a billboard on I-40 inside Knoxville city limits that the vawl nation had rented. They had Coach Bryant's picture and the statement he made on the South Central Bell commercial "Have you called your momma today? I sure wish I could call mine," on it and then the score of the game where the bastards won 35-28.

I disliked them before that but it turned to a healthy hatred after I saw that billboard.

As a walk on, I was exposed to Rocky Top for EVERY minute we were at the football facility, except for meetings!! That shit blared throughout the complex! In the locker room, in the weight room, in the training room, and then at practice to simulate the crowd noise! I hated them as a child and that '82 game was the trigger.
I believe it was '97 when Peyton " billboard forehead" Manning lit us up in Legion Field and then led the team in that POS song! Then the Krispy Kreme doughnut eating POS secret witness Fat Phil Fulmer!!!
I HATE ORANGE!!!!!!

Was exiled to middle 10rc for a number of years as a teenager. I detest that team and the color. I actually made it a habit of asking folks wearing "i bleed orange" shirts if they were willing to let me cut them to prove it. That stadium actually has the smallest individual seating areas of any I've been to. As much as I like to see it when there is nothing but Crimson showing in the stands I will watch from home.

I may have told you all about my daughter UT doll? My wife grandmother which at the time live close to Notville. She crochet a cheerleader outfit on the doll. My wife make me hold my tongue. She still has this doll. It the only thing with that crap, the rest is all Bama stuff. Well my grandson is a different story! Please don't ask! :eyeroll:
