I promised to take her to the celebration before I knew it was going to rain. Actually I promised her when her brother got the prized second ticket to go with me to Pasadena.

I'm gonna pass Doemaster. It's getting into the peak of the rut and I don't want to pass on a big one to sit in the rain for an hour and then have to drive 2 hours back home. I'll catch it next year though!!!

I will do it. I took a 9 point back before Christmas and so far that has been it. My 8 year old son took his first buck a couple of days later.

Well, I hope it's worth it. I'm driving over from ATL. Nothing against anyone on here, but I'm disappointed in the lack of interest. I know the weather and all but still.

Lack of interest. Im sure the area will be packed. I flew all the way to Pasadena to be there. I spent money I dont really have.

But to dirve 3 hours for a 1 hour deal, and then sit in the rain. Maybe the university should have delayed it a week, and had a parade.

I promise you it wont be an empty campus this Saturday.

I'm planning on being their, but only because the girlfriend is going to take a look at the campus while she's there. Two birds with one stone. If it weren't for that I probably would be driving 3 hours for just a one hour event and I can understand why a lot of people aren't.

Oh, I'm certainly not questioning your desire to support the Tide. It just appears from all I've heard and read that many fans aren't planning to be there. Maybe it's the lack of parade and up-close and personals. Maybe it's the weather (I know I certainly don't want to go sit in the rain); maybe it's lack of money.

I just hate that more people can't be a part of this celebration. Maybe they should have waited and planned more. I just don't anticipate any A-day type crowds. Oh well, at least I'll get a poster and get to see Mt. Cody, Javy, Rolando, etc... one more time. :smile:
