That's a collection! I've got a guy on my route that is married to the daughter of Bear's former security guard. He's got an INCREDIBLE collection dating to the 60's.

Call BS if you want, but my departed Grand dad use to be a heavy gambler, and played poker with Coach Bryant. When Grand dad died back in 81, My family was going through his stuff, and he had allot of Bama stuff, so me and my cousin grab this multi colored hat, it was'nt houndstooth,but the yellow and red type, and started playing around with it. My Granny got on to us and told us the story of how Grand dad acquired it. As the story goes, one night Grand dad was playing cards and Coach Bryant came in for a few quick hands, well Coach Bryant lost a couple in a row to Grand dad and got upset and started arguing with everybody and Grand dad told him play or get the hell out, Coach Bryant threw his hat at Grandad and Grand Dad picked up the hat and said "Well dammit Bryant thats your mark" and kept the hat. According to Granny Coach was good friends with Grand dad, I think they went to Bama together. The hat has long past disappeared we were so young and didn't know what we had. I the stupid barn side of the family gave it to good will. :swear:But anyway it's a good story to tell. I can just imagine Grand dad and Coach sitting around with other guys just bs'ing.

I have this, a football signed by The Bear & the 1978 NC team, an Alabama vs. Tenuhsay program from '89 or '90 with Siran Stacy on the cover & signed by him. My picture with The Bear that hung in the museum for a few years. Two other pictures of The Bear autographed by him.

There's more, but i'd have to go dig through some stuff.

great stuff, does anyone have a home office or basement they have decked out in Bama stuff? I'm trying to convert a third bedroom into a Bama room with my autographed jersey's and helmets and memorbilia.

Believe it or not, I found a Bear Bryant Coke bottle out here at a huge antique mart (junk mart) here in L.A. a couple of months ago. Sitting beside it was a Paterno/Penn State Pepsi bottle as well. Should have picked up both of them since I don't recall ever actually seeing a PSU one before.

I have a football signed by the 04 team, and a Season of Champions hardcover signed by Stallings, Sayers, and Hootie Ingram. Numbered 958 in the series.

I also have the full length Birmingham News Edition from December 20th, 1982 and the TTown News edition from November 30th, 2008.

Also have a mint condition SI 1992 (Bama Championship Edition).

A University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Vault, detailing the history of BAMA football.

A number of Daniel Moore prints as well.

I own the house that John, David and Charlie Hannah grew up in. The kitchen door has years and initials showing their height as they got taller.

I have a Bear Coca-Cola too! I don't collect much memorabilia.

I have several signed pics of players they give away at those mall appearances. I guess a lot of folks have those.

I have a football signed by Le'Ron McClain and Tim Castille. I have pics with them too.

I have Coach Bryants autograph when I met him in April of 1982. I have Coach Sabans Autograph on Forbes mag. (Courtesy of Porter.) I have every coaches autograph from Bryant on, except Frans. I burned it. Got Snakes, Namaths, Bart Starr, and various other players autographs. My next accomplishment is that I am hoping to meet Major Ogilvie and get his autograph.
