If any of you haven't caught this yet, it's some must see TV for us Bama fans. ESPN actually does a good job with this.

The S&C coach Cochran (sp?) is a psyco. I think he scares the crap out of the guys to get them working out.

He sounded more like a Drill Instructor. I love it.

Allowing the 'all-access' was a brilliant move by Saban. What a great recruiting tool.

Also, I think CNS having the offense load up on the defense during practice, putting up 700 yards passing and umpteen touchdowns really got their attention.
That, along with the team leaders calling that meeting, was a calculated move to get all that talent on 'D' to man-up and work harder before the season starts.

As I think about it, what initially seemed like a reason for concern (all those yards/points given up) now seems like a brilliant strategy on the part of CNS.

The guy knows how to coach (understatement).

I like the part when the player came into CNS office. That room I could park both of my car in. Then the door shut behind him. Without CNS getting up to open or shut the door.

ran across this in an article on bamaonline today, I know there were some comments on other bama forums (can't remember if it was on this one) about why DJ was missing from the $200 dinner Greg purchased for the OL.

McElroy on taking the offensive linemen and tight ends out for dinner the night before camp opened: "I was real fortunate that (D.J.) Fluker had a tutor that night."
